Having previously worked with the client on painting their cabinets, Kailan and her team were invited back to spearhead the interior painting and design aspects of the main floor renovation. From the outset, they were deeply involved in the creative process, offering guidance on colour selection and design ideas to ensure a cohesive and visually stunning result.
The colour palette chosen for the project reflected a blend of sophistication and warmth, perfectly complementing the new flooring and existing fireplace. Interior walls and trim were painted in Wheat Bread by Behr, evoking a sense of timeless elegance. The interior doors were adorned with Behr’s Satin Black, adding a touch of contrast and modernity to the space. However, the pièce de résistance was the TV accent wall, which was elegantly crafted using Satin Black by Behr once again, serving as a focal point that effortlessly ties the room together.
While Refreshed and Refurbished focused on the painting and design aspects, the project as a whole encompassed a myriad of improvements, including new flooring, the removal of textured ceilings, the addition of pot lights, enhancements to the woodwork on the beam, and the acquisition of new furniture.
